Parent Liaison
The MCFARES Parent Liaison helps families raising an individual with FASD by:
  • Linking you and your family to county services
  • Helping you navigate through systems of care
  • Assist families in preparing for an Individualized Education Plan meeting (IEP)
  • Advocate for the FASD child

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Awareness Day
September 9th is International FASDay. NineZero. Nine Months, Zero Alcohol is the prevention message heard across the country on this day. It’s a great way to push forward the FASD prevention and treatment agenda. Each year 42,000 children are born with FASD and it is 100% preventable.

Gap Funds
Gap Funds are available to families raising an individual with FASD. They can be used to offset diagnostic and treatment costs as well as for respite care and recreational play.
