members to prevent and respond to real life struggles including
the problematic use of alcohol, tobacco and/or other drugs. |

Counseling and evaluations |
|
CARE provides clinical evaluations for those experiencing
difficulties because of the harmful, problematic use of alcohol
and/or other drugs. Clinical staff will link
those who qualify to treatment or support services designed to
provide the help they need. |

Substance use disorder evaluations |
|
Any Macomb County resident may call to participate in a
substance use disorder evaluation. Call 586.541.2273 for help

Employees |
|
Employees who work for organizations that have an employee
assistance contract with CARE’S WorkLife Solutions are
eligible to receive free, confidential and professional
assistance by Master’s level clinicians for themselves or their
dependents to overcome whatever life-management issues they may
face. |

Treatment Funding
Macomb County residents looking for alcohol or other drug
dependency treatment (outpatient counseling, intensive
outpatient counseling or inpatient counseling) may be eligible
for treatment funding through Macomb County Community Mental
Health Office of Substance Abuse. Funding eligibility is based
on income and number of dependants per household.

Macomb County residents with active Medicaid who are seeking
treatment for alcohol or other drug dependency must
contact CARE in order to
receive an assessment for treatment referral.
